INTER HOUSE QUIZ COMPETITION (SENIOR) 2022-23
Inter house quiz competition was organised for the year 2022-23 on 14 June 2022 for the senior category. Col Vembu Shankar, Shaurya Chakra, Indian Army veteran and an eminent quizzer was the chief guest and the quiz master. A total of four houses participated in the competition. The quiz was comprised of five rounds namely headlines, stamp it, topsy-turvy, multimedia masala and buzzer round. The quiz was keenly contested by all the cadets.
House masters from four houses nominated three best cadets for the competition. The quiz was excellently conducted with great mix of questions from diverse fields. Most of the questions were answered by the participants and even the chance was given to the audience to take part and many won gifts by answering the questions.
Cariappa house bagged the first position and the quick response with accuracy of the participants was exalted by the quiz master. Katari house who were at the last position prior to the last round bounced back surprisingly in the buzzer round and secured the second position and Subroto house secured the third position.
Col G Kannan, Principal Sainik School Kodagu presented a memento to the chief guest as a token of love and remembrance. Cdt Suhani of class VII was the Emcee of the programme, Mr. Dada D Kusanale (TGT-Science) introduced the chief guest to the august gathering, Cadet Suhan of class VIII and Cdt Vijay of class IX delivered their welcome speech and vote of thanks respectively. The programme culminated with National anthem. All the staffs were present on the occasion.
