To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India, ‘Run for Unity’ was organized at Sainik School Kodagu. on 31st October 2023. A unity run was organised at 0600 hr and 553 cadets and 30 staff members participated in the run. Mr B A Rajgolkar, TGT- English briefed the cadets about the life story of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel before the commencement of the run.
During the run, the cadets raised slogans about the unity of our nation. They covered a distance of 3.5 km. After the run, the ‘Unity Pledge’ was administered to all the cadets. The cadets expressed their commitment towards our nation’s unity and integrity.
